Sadness to the (and for) Max

Max is dying.

We all are, I suppose, but Max's death is on the horizon. The tumor we had removed last fall has grown back. He's lethargic. It won't be much longer.

I'm sad; it's hard.

Perhaps his death would be easier if there were a formula. Plug the numbers into the equation, know when his pain outweighs the grip of your love.

No. Pain can never outmuscle love.

Plug the numbers into the equation, know when his pain pushes your love to prove itself. Know when to say goodbye.

Sorry to hear that. My cat is 17, so I can relate.

the loml and i have had to put two dogs down because of too serious infirmities. we were there both times holding, petting and cuddling them when the final shot was given and they faded away. we cried our eyes out both times. yes. it's very hard. god's peace be with you.

Losing a pet sux. I've lost quite a few. It truly is losing a member of the family. Am sorry, sweetie.
